If you know Pete, you will well know that he has rarely ever seen a sunrise (more often on the way home from a club than at the start of a day) so yesterday was a miracle. We left out guesthouse just after 4.30am, bought tickets and arrived at Angkor Wat at 5.30am. Took our positions ready for sunrise and waited.
We were not dissapointed. And then a morning of exploring Khmer temples followed.
This is a Chinese lady’s pose (and her hat) ???????? And then the Tomb Raider set …
We saw many monkeys (I was a bit worried about the bananas in my bag!) and even saw a wedding video in production!
And just a few more temples to round off the day ….
After that we were well and truly templed out and felt we deserved a beer or two.
Watching some fire limbo (now that’s an incentive to get under the pole!).
