Well isn’t 2020 a weird old year ?!!? Tbh we are so glad we were travelling around the USA and Canada last year in the van rather than this year !!! That would have been troublesome for sure.
Anyway we’ve had to make the sad decision not to go back to Bulgaria to teach skiing again this winter 😭😭 Our boss, Bobi, understands that it’s just too uncertain to go as the ski lifts “could” close at any moment if the Covid rate gets too high….. plus the Bulgarian regulations say that you have to stay 1.5m away from students – imagine that in a kid’s lesson, “Come on just get yourself up off the floor” to the 3 year old with their legs in knots 🤔🤔😜
Plus life on the island is as normal as it ever has been, with no real covid cases. So we are really fortunate to be are allowed to go to the pub, no social distancing, hugging (other person’s permission still required 😉😘) and no masks, so it would be daft to leave really. We’ve been filling our time biking, hiking and catching up with friends. We were enjoying the summer but now it’s just so wet all the time, wish it was snow !!! It’s so wet I’ve even agreed to go back to my old office job, part-time, to escape it !!! Desperate times 🤑😍
Janet went kayaking today in a monsoon and force 8 winds – I watched the MotoGP on the tv 🤣🤣🤣
