So, yeah, somehow Summer is already finished here on the Isle of Man !! Countdown to ski season seems to be fast approaching.
It’s been a fun summer – and, for the IOM, a hot summer which was a nice change.
Pete’s been busy working outside and actually has a tan !! Ironically the TT races took place after 4 weeks of no rain, so obviously the weather was awful for the race fortnight 😭😭 . There were some long camera days. The Action was as spectacular as always, when it did happen.
Janet’s travel agency has been getting busier, she’s delighted as it means she hasn’t had to do the holiday let cleaning job.
We enjoyed a cheeky long weekend trip to Saltburn-by-the-Sea for Janet’s mum’s 80th birthday. Neither of us has ever been to that part of the UK and really enjoyed it.
Pete and his brother also went to England to watch a round of the World Trials Championship – they certainly will never be able to ride their trials bikes like those boys (and girls) !!! Unbelievable what they were able to ride up!
Seems we’ve both been busy on bikes too 😎
