Just a quick update !!
The last post might have sounded a bit down on the Philippines??? Tired, heat shock etc.
We’ve now got back into a more “Asia” backpacker mindset but, honestly, there hasn’t been much need to, people wise. Traffic wise definitely need to be in Asia mode 🙈🙈🙈 and also when trying to haggle for a tuktuk or tricycle. Sometimes in Asia, you have to be on your toes, for crazy tourist prices, scams etc etc but the people here (so far) have been very friendly and honest with immaculate English 🥰
Even when buying breakfast at the bakery the girl said “76 pesos please.” I said “76?” Just be sure, and rummaged for some change, then she said – “Sorry, actually it’s 56 pesos” 🤯
