So whilst travelling I didn’t want to add to the mountain of plastic bottles that our countries can’t cope with. Here you will see a photo taken at the edge if a road in Bangkok highlighting the problem. So with a very kind donation from Marie Skillicorn and Keith Skillicorn I am trialling a water filter system used by the US And UK military to be able to drink tap water (yes I am their nominated guinea pig). It is called DrinkSAFE. Since landing I have drank filtered water from the airport drinking fountains and so tonight is my first attempt with the filter. Fingers crossed !!!!
Next I need to get pete used to saying no to the plastic bag, plastic straw and plastic straw cover that they give you with every bottle of water he buys (he is letting me trial the filtered water first).
